Ramadan 1446: Al Ihsan Serves 200 Iftar Meals to Needy Families in Pikine

Al Ihsan carried out its iftar meals project during the blessed month of Ramadan 1446 AH (2025), with the support of the Kuwaiti Society (الجمعية الكويتية), in the Al Falah neighbourhood of Pikine, Dakar. The project benefited 200 people from poor and needy families, widows and orphans.
The aim was to prepare hot iftar meals for those fasting, easing the hardship of struggling families facing difficult living conditions, and reviving the cherished tradition of feeding the fasting.
Implementation unfolded in several stages: identifying poor and displaced families, overseeing the preparation of the meals, drawing up beneficiary lists, and then delivering the meals to recipients’ homes, with full documentation of the project.
