Surface Well Drilling – Sara wa Nouf Al-Hassan in Karghi

As part of its efforts to provide drinking water in rural areas of Senegal, the Al Ihsan Association for Education, Teaching, Islamic Culture and Social Affairs carried out the drilling of a surface well in the village of Karghi, in the Kaolack region, thanks to the generous donation of Sara wa Nouf Al-Hassan and their parents, under the supervision of Bait Al-Zakat (the Zakat House) of Kuwait.

The well reaches a depth of 42 metres and water is drawn from it by bucket, over an effective area of 42 m². The project cost amounted to 750 Kuwaiti dinars.

Work began on 10 July 2024 and was completed by 20 September 2024, providing the entire village with a clean, permanent source of water for their daily needs.
